HuntsNT Safari "Gold Medal" Club

In addition to our land based operations we offer 1 and 2 day Gold Class Trophy hunts utilising a Bell Jet Ranger helicopter. Our clients have the option to extend the trip for longer periods subject to helicopter availability.This is an exhilarating very comfortable way to hunt, flying low over vast flood plains, mighty rivers, thundering waterfalls, stands of rainforest ancient rock escarpments. You may get to see abundant birdlife, salt water crocodiles lazing on the river banks or mobs of wild boar. Our pilot will most likely take you up high to take in the grand vista that is the Australia's Northern Territory. Heli hunting, an unforgettable experience that few persons will ever get the opportunity to be part of. Our Jet Ranger can travel up to 200 kilometres an hour or 120 mph in imperial terms and allows you to hunt areas hundreds of kilometres or miles from Darwin. That's a lot of country and a lot of potential record book trophies. A typical set up would be to glass herds while our helicopter hovers, once a suitable trophy animal is identified then we will put down proceed to stalk on foot. Assuming we are successful we will have a professional with us to cape the head. Should the hunt be on a 2x1 basis then we will head off to secure another trophy.

Our clients chose their own accommodation in Darwin and this allows them to travel with their partners in comfort style. Should your safari be a 1x1 basis then your partner can join us for no additional fee.

Trophy fees are an additional cost @ AU$2750 per trophy head for Water Buffalo, which includes a full head cape removal pre preparation.

Safari "Gold Medal" Club - the ultimate hunting adventure!

• HuntsNT are under contract to charter the helicopter for 6 hours a day and there is no adjustment of fees should flying time be of a lesser duration. However, should flying time exceed 6 hours a day then there is no additional fee for our client, as we will cover that cost.   

HuntsNT conducts all hunting activities on a free range, fair chase basis. Under no circumstances will firearms be discharged from the helicopter.
